Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 3-4 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red-chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander-cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds

How to make

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee and 1/4 tsp mustard seeds until the seeds crackle
  2. Lower the heat and add 1/4 tsp hing
  3. Add bananas (and 5 ml water if it looks too dry, but ripe bananas will usually secrete water)
  4. Add the spices
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 tsp red-chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp coriander-cumin powder
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  5. Cook for a 2-4 mins, and serve
